Annual Two Mile Run Regatta Begins This Weekend

FRANKLIN, Pa. (EYT) – The Two Mile Run Regatta will take place this weekend at Two Mile County Park.

Three Rivers Outboard Racing Association(TRORA) is putting on the annual boat race, which starts off on Friday, May 26, with racers testing motors and props.

Saturday and Sunday will be racing starting around 10:00 a.m. and lasting well into the afternoon.

On Monday, a driver’s school will be held for new drivers who are interested in the sport. Admission is free for all spectators, and individuals are welcome to walk around the pits.

You just need to sign a waiver and get a wristband.

Close-toed shoes are required in the pit area.

The concession stand will be open for all who would like to grab breakfast or lunch and watch the boat races.

In the past, the regatta has had racers attend from as far away as Indiana, Illinois, New England, North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, California, and Canada.

Two Mile Run County Park is located at 471 Beach Road in Franklin.
