SUGARCREEK BOROUGH, Pa. (EYT) — Police say a woman is facing charges for scratching a slur into the door of a victim’s vehicle in Sugarcreek Borough earlier this month.

Franklin-based State Police say the incident occurred around 5:05 a.m. on February 8 at a location on Allegheny Boulevard in Sugarcreek Borough, Venango County.

According to police, 30-year-old Kayla Stoltzfus, of Narvon, Pa., “keyed” an anti-gay slur into the door of a 2015 Dodge RAM 1500 that belongs to a known male victim.

Police say Stoltzfus also repeatedly called the victim at all hours of the day and night.

Court documents indicate the following charges were filed against Stoltzfus through Magisterial District Judge Patrick E. Lowrey’s office on February 22:

– Criminal Mischief — Damage Property, Misdemeanor 3
– Harassment — Comm. Repeatedly and Inconvenient Hours, Misdemeanor 3

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. on March 31, with Judge Lowrey presiding.
