CHERRYTREE TWP., Pa. (EYT) — Charges have been filed against a Titusville man who was found nude in a driveway after reportedly crashing his car through a fence and into the woods while high on meth.

Court documents indicate the Franklin-based State Police filed criminal charges against 34-year-old Randall Mark Kinnear Jr..

According to a criminal complaint, around 10:50 a.m. on July 6, Franklin-based State Police were dispatched to a location on Fairview Road for a report of a naked male lying in a driveway.

Police found Randall Mark Kinnear Jr. totally nude when they arrived. The complaint also notes Kinnear appeared to be impaired by controlled substances and was subsequently transported by ambulance to Titusville Hospital for medical treatment, the complaint states.

Police then received a call from Kinnear’s mother on July 9. She reported Kinnear’s car was missing and said she heard he “had been left for dead” where he was found. She told police Kinnear had been transferred to St. Vincent Hospital in Erie and had been in and out of a coma, according to the complaint.

Through further investigation, police learned that Kinnear was not “left for dead,” but became high on methamphetamine and had crashed his car in the woods behind Myers Lane, which is a private lane in the 900 block of Fairview Road. Police were told Kinnear’s vehicle was still in the woods and a tow truck would not be able to access it, the complaint indicates.

The complaint notes Kinnear had also torn up a newly planted yard and crashed through a fence when he crashed the vehicle.

On July 10, police located Kinnear’s vehicle in the woods. While police were at the scene, Kinnear arrived and spoke to them.

According to the complaint, Kinnear admitted to having a marijuana pipe in the vehicle’s center console. He also admitted to doing meth and driving his car into the woods. He reportedly said he was not “left for dead” and his vehicle was not stolen. He admitted to police that the white substance found in his vehicle was “garbage meth,” which he explained was poor quality meth.

The complaint notes Kinnear agreed for the property owner to retrieve his car from the woods with a tractor and also agreed he would not hold the property owner liable for any damage to the vehicle during removal from the woods. The vehicle was then returned to Kinnear.

The property owner provided police with an estimate of the damage to his property which came to a total of $1,309.04, according to the complaint.

The following charges were filed against Kinnear through Magisterial District Judge Andrew F. Fish’s office on August 11:

– Indecent Exposure, Misdemeanor 1
– Criminal Mischief — Damage Property, Misdemeanor 3
– Disorderly Conduct Hazardous/Physical Offense, Misdemeanor 3

– Use/Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Misdemeanor (four counts)
– Defiant Trespass Posted, Summary
– Public Drunkenness And Similar Misconduct, Summary
