Area Man Injured in Motorcycle Vs. Vehicle Crash on Route 322

WEST MEAD TWP., Pa. (ETY) – An area man was injured in a crash involving a motorcycle and a passenger vehicle on US 322 on Monday.

According to Meadville-based State Police, the accident happened around 11:18 a.m. on Monday, October 11, on US 322, at its intersection with Clark Road, in West Mead Township, Crawford County.

Police say 28-year-old Justin Bradley, of Meadville, was operating a 2005 Kawasaki ZX1000 motorcycle traveling north on US 322 when he attempted to pass a 2015 Toyota Sequoia, operated by 51-year-old Lori Guianen, of Cochranton, that had slowed down to make a right turn onto Clark Road. Bradley’s motorcycle then struck the rear of Guianen’s vehicle.

Bradley suffered injuries of unknown severity and was transported to Meadville Medical Center by Meadville Area Ambulance Service. He was wearing a helmet.

Guianen was using a seat belt and was not injured.

The motorcycle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene by Geneva Truck and Equipment. The passenger vehicle sustained minor damage.

West Mead Volunteer Fire Department also assisted at the scene.
