Area Woman Injured in Oil Creek Township Crash

OIL CREEK TWP., Pa. (EYT) — An area woman was injured in a crash that occurred late last week in Oil Creek Township.

According to police, around 11:16 a.m. on January 22, a one-vehicle crash occurred on Enterprise Road just west of Dotyville Road, in Oil Creek Township, Crawford County.

Police say 27-year-old Janelle M. Simmons, of Titusville, was operating a 2009 Subaru Outback, traveling south on Enterprise Road, when her vehicle left the right side of the roadway and struck a ditch.

Simmons suffered suspected minor injuries and was transported to Titusville Area Hospital by EmergyCare Ambulance.

She was using a seat belt.

Youngsville, Grant Valley, and Titusville Fire Departments along with Thompson’s and Shambaugh’s Towing assisted at the scene.

Simmons was cited for a speed violation.
