Officers arrived on location and spoke with the victim.

Police say through the course of the investigation, it was determined that 47 year-old Jody Andrusky allegedly assaulted the female victim after an argument about what was going to be watched on television.

According to police, the victim attempted to go upstairs when Andrusky allegedly shoved the female victim from behind, causing her to fall over a living room chair and strike her head on the base of a closet door. Subsequently, this caused the female victim to sustain a laceration to her forehead.

Andrusky then allegedly grabbed the female victim by her hair after she had attempted to get up and threw her backwards to the ground by her hair, police say.

Andrusky was placed under arrest and transported to the Franklin Police Department for processing and arraignment.

He is being charged with Simple Assault and Harassment through Judge Snyder’s Office.

A preliminary hearing will be held at a later date.
