Mrs. Arlene B. Fry, 77, formerly of Townville, died Wednesday evening November 28, 2012 at Rolling Fields Nursing Home in Conneautville.

Mrs. Fry was born on August 3, 1935 at Rockland, PA, a daughter of the late Leslie and Virginia Campbell Findlay. She was married to Willis D. Fry on Sept. 6, 1958 at Wallaceville.

She was a graduate of Colestock High School, class of 1953. She had worked as a bookkeeper at Fisher and Young Lumber Company in Titusville, and also at Carpenter’s Packing Company in Townville.

She enjoyed gardening, flowers, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Arlene is survived by her husband of Conneautville; two daughters, Leslie Rankin and husband Jim of Houston, TX and Lori Fry of Erie; two granddaughters, Sara and Heidi Rankin; a brother, Donald Findlay of Florida; five sisters, Rita Erickson of Waterford, Mary Hasbrouck of Iowa, Faye Weaver of Irvine, PA, Sandra Harger of Wattsburg, and Patricia Tubbs of Starbrick; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Harley Findlay; and three sisters, Joan Pringle, Nadine Rivers, and Yvonne O’Neill.

No public calling hours will be observed. A memorial service will be conducted at the convenience of the family.
