CLARION TWP., Pa. (EYT) — An investigation is underway after a Venango County woman was allegedly sexually assaulted in Clarion County.

On November 23, Clarion-based State Police received a report of an alleged indecent sexual assault of a 24-year-old Oil City woman that was reported to have occurred between 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. on November 10.

The incident is alleged to have occurred at a location along Staab Road in Clarion Township.

Police say a suspect has been identified and the case remains under investigation.
