Bernard H. Baughman

Bernard H. Baughman, 78, of Tionesta passed away on June 30, 2016, after a brief illness.

Born on May 1, 1938, in Fryburg, Pa., he was the son of Bernard W. and Edith I. Cope Baughman.

He was a 1958 graduate of North Clarion High School.

On August 16, 1961, he was married to the former Beulah Stitzinger Baughman who survives.

He attended Good Shepherd United Methodist Church in Tionesta, Pa.

He was a mechanic at Lehman’s Garage in Tionesta and then went to work for US Steel in Oil City until his retirement.

Bernard enjoyed woodworking, hunting and shooting skeet. He was also one of the founding members of the Allegheny Valley Sportsman’s Association of Tionesta and a life time member of the NRA.

Bernard is survived by his wife Beulah and his daughter Beth Bradford and husband Brick of Tionesta. Grandchildren surviving include Mark and Shane Bradford. A brother Paul of Fryburg, a sister Alice Grolemund of Fryburg, a sister Louise Barscz of Oil City, a sister Sarah Flockerzi of Oil City and a sister Ruth Beichner of NC.

He was preceded in death by his parents, an infant son and daughter, and a daughter Kelly Sliker.

Friends will be received at the Faller Funeral Home, Inc. in Fryburg on Saturday, July 2, 2016, from 2 – 4 p.m.

Funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 2, 2016, at Faller Funeral Home, Inc. in Fryburg, with Rev. Dr. Jonathan Bell, Pastor of Good Shepherd United Methodist Church presiding.

Interment will be in the Mount Zion Cemetery in Red Brush.

Memorials in Bernard’s honor may be made to Allegheny Valley Sportsman’s Association, Tionesta, Pa. 16353.
