Rodgers Obit PicBeverly J. Rodgers, 82, of Cranberry, died peacefully Tuesday morning, November 5, 2019 at Sugarcreek Station in Franklin.

She was born September 29, 1937 in Fairmount City, Clarion County, a daughter of the late Daniel C. and Helen Mae (Hilliard) Keller.

She attended Franklin schools.

In her earlier years, she was affiliated with the Oil City Church of the Nazarene, and more recently, she had been attending services at Victory Heights United Brethren Church.

Bev enjoyed ceramics and crafts, and enjoyed attending the craft shows in Shaker Woods, Ohio. She also enjoyed shopping, spending time with her grandchildren, and hosting family holidays and get-togethers.

Mrs. Rodgers worked as a sales clerk for the Bon Ton department store in the Cranberry Mall for 22 years.

She was married in Utica on October 12, 1957 to Robert J. Rodgers, and he preceded her in death on June 26, 2014.

Surviving are three children: Robert J. Rodgers, Jr. and his wife Nichelle of Carlton, Scott Rodgers of Cranberry, and Brenda S. Besket of Wexford; and five grandchildren: Nichole Rodgers of Clarion, Ethan Rodgers of Cambridge Springs, Daniel Rodgers of Cranberry, and Sydney and Avery Besket, both of Wexford.

Also surviving is her brother, Thomas Keller and his wife Marsha of Florida; a sister, Joyce Darby and her husband Gary of Meadville; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Beverly was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

A memorial service to celebrate Beverly’s life will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday (November 9th) at Hile-Best Funeral Home, 2781 Rte. 257 in Seneca. Mr. Evan Pippin will officiate.

Private interment will be in Brandon Cemetery in Cranberry.
