FRANKLIN, Pa. (EYT) — A special bicycle safety event was held at Evergreen Arbors in Franklin on June 11.
The event was held with the help of RAACA (Riders Advocating Against Child Abuse) of Venango County and Venango County Sheriff’s Department and was planned to help educate children on different aspects of bicycle safety.
The children were able to sign their “official bicycle license,” participate in games — including Stop, Slow, Go; Twisting through Cones; and Water Balloon Smash — and enjoy some pizza, water, and cookies.
