Emlenton Convenience Store Robbed at Gunpoint

EMLENTON, Pa. (EYT) – Franklin-based State Police have confirmed that a convenience in Emlenton was robbed at gunpoint Tuesday night.

It happened around 9:30 p.m. at Uni-Mart on Main Street.

According to authorities, a man entered the store wearing a grey Halloween mask, a full-length black hooded poncho, and gloves.

Police say the man pointed a black semi-automatic handgun at the cashier and demanded money.

The cashier complied and the suspect fled on foot with approximately $200 in cash.

Police say the suspect is believed to be in his 20’s.

The investigation is ongoing.
