Knox Man Facing Over 100 Counts Related Rape of Two Young Children

BEAVER TWP., Pa. (EYT) – A Knox man was arraigned late Wednesday night on over 100 charges related to the repeated rape of two young children in Beaver Township, Clarion County

Court documents indicate 43-year-old Timothy Ray Bell, of Knox, was arraigned in front of Magisterial District Judge Amy Long Turk at 10:59 p.m. on Wednesday, January 30, on the following charges:

  • Rape of Child, Felony 1 (36 counts)
  • Involuntary Deviate Sexual Intercourse Person Less Than 16 Years Age, Felony 1 (36 counts)
  • Involuntary Deviate Sexual Intercourse with Child, Felony 1 (36 counts)
  • Sexual Intercourse with Animal, Misdemeanor 2 (five counts)

Unable to post $100,000.00 monetary bail, he was lodged in the Clarion County Jail.

According to a criminal complaint filed by Clarion-based State Police Trooper Norbert, the charges stem from incidents that are alleged to have occurred while two juvenile victims were staying at Bell’s residence along Madison Road in Beaver Township.

According to the complaint, juvenile victim one alleged to have been sexually assaulted by Bell on multiple occasions while left alone with him. Juvenile victim one alleged to have been raped by Bell and stated that he also raped victim two.

The complaint notes the incidents occurred between the approximate dates of January 17, 2010, and August 30, 2018, and began when victim one was approximately 6-years-old and victim two was approximately 4-years-old.

According to the complaint, Bell was interviewed on Wednesday, January 30, and admitted to the crimes, stating that he sexually assaulted victim one approximately 20 times and sexually assaulted victim two approximately 18 times.

He also admitted to having sexual intercourse with a dog approximately five times, according to the complaint

Bell faces a preliminary hearing on Tuesday, February 5, at 9:00 a.m. with Judge Turk presiding.
