Tractor-Trailer vs. SUV Crash on I-80; Four Medical Helicopters Dispatched

KNOX, Pa. (EYT) – A tractor-trailer and SUV collided on Interstate 80 West on Saturday afternoon.

A second tractor-trailer was also involved in the crash.

Clarion County 9-1-1 said the accident was called in around 4:22 p.m. on Interstate 80 westbound near mile marker 53.

Knox Volunteer Fire Company, ambulance services from Knox, Clarion Hospital, and Emlenton, and Clarion-based State Police were dispatched to the scene.

According to Clarion County 9-1-1, four helicopters – three from STAT MedEvac and one from Life Flight – were also called to the scene.

State police are expected to release additional information within 48 hours.
