Brent Allen Stahlman, 61, of Seneca, died unexpectedly of natural causes at his residence on Wednesday, January 30, 2019.

He was born in Oil City on August 19, 1957, to the late Donald and Imojane (Salsgiver) Stahlman.

He was a graduate of Cranberry High School.

Brent enjoyed fishing and collecting and hauling scrap metals. He also enjoyed spending time with his family, nieces, and nephews.

Prior to his health declining, Brent worked waterproofing basements.

He is survived by his brothers and sisters: Judy Rice and her husband Ken of Seneca, Joe Stahlman and his wife Pat of Oil City, Rick Stahlman of Franklin, Kris Stahlman of Rockland, Holly Groger and her husband Gary of Cooperstown, June Dailey and her husband Chuck of Seneca, and Troy Stahlman and his wife Vonnie of Seneca. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Donald “Butch” Stahlman and Timothy Stahlman; and a sister, Debra Weingard.

Friends and family will be received Saturday, February 2, from noon until 1:00 p.m. in the Hile-Best Funeral Home, 2781 Rte. 257 in Seneca, Cranberry Township, where a memorial service to celebrate Brent’s life will follow Saturday at 1:00 p.m.

Private Interment will be in Heckathorn Cemetery in Seneca.
