Bruce RheaBruce Anthony Rhea, 63, Sanford, FL, died June 27, 2017 surrounded by family and his priest.

Bruce was born June 26, 1954 to Daryl and Helen Rhea, in Brookville, PA.; attended Immaculate Conception Grade School, and graduated in ’72 from Clarion Limestone High School, Strattanville, PA. After attending DeVry Institute of Technology in Cincinnati, OH he became a licensed FCC technician. He was an avid pilot and the youngest person in Clarion County to earn his private pilot’s license at 14 and enjoyed flying with his family and friends.

Bruce married Ruth Lander of Lucinda, PA in 1976. He was a devout Roman Catholic, and member of St Thomas More Catholic Church in Sanford. His greatest joy was the giving of his time and talents to his Church and any neighbor in need. He was the retired co-owner of TRS Wireless in Orlando, FL and owner of I-4 Mini Storage in Sanford, FL.

Survivors include his wife, Ruth; children, Rhonda (husband, Justin Sauer) and Jeffrey (wife, Rose) of Sanford, FL and Philip (wife, Ashley) of Coral Gables, FL; 16 beautiful grandchildren; siblings, John (wife, Dixy), Eloise (husband, Kurt Raeder), Katherine (husband, Ed Hoffman), and Teresa (husband, George Haws); 43 nieces and nephews; and sisters-in-law, Suzanne Rhea and Susan Rhea.

He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers Gregory (at birth), Daryl Jr. and David.

Viewing will be on Sunday, July 2 from 4 pm to 7 pm at St Thomas More Catholic Church in Sanford, FL. A Traditional Latin Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Monday, July 3 at 9:30 am, followed by Interment at All Souls Catholic Cemetery, Sanford, FL.
