BUTLER COUNTY, Pa. (EYT) — According to sources, a Butler man has been arrested for criminal homicide in Butler, Butler County, Pa.

Sources say early Thursday morning 35-year-old Richard Neyman shot 44-year-old Craig Haas at Haas’ West New Castle Street apartment.

Neyman told police he shot Haas in self-defense; Haas was pronounced dead at the scene.

Neyman is lodged in the Butler County Jail and charged with criminal homicide.

His preliminary hearing is scheduled for Monday.
