OIL CITY, Pa. (EYT) — Multiple charges have been filed against a man who allegedly followed a woman into an apartment, struck her in the head, then knocked a second woman down a set of stairs while fleeing.

Court documents indicate the Oil City Police Department filed criminal charges against 34-year-old Tyrik R. Wilson, of Philadelphia, on January 4.

According to a criminal complaint, around 6:46 p.m. on January 1, a known female victim contacted the Oil City Police to report being struck by Tyrik Wilson.

The victim told police she had a really back headache and at first, did not want medical attention, then later decided she did want to get checked out because of the ongoing headache, the complaint states.

The victim also reported that Wilson had left the residence and went in an unknown direction.

Police then arrived at the scene to speak to the victim.

According to the complaint, the first victim stated Wilson was angry because she had told another individual that he took money from her. She reported that she attempted to get away from Wilson because she could tell he was getting angry, but he followed her into the building. She then ran up the stairs and opened the door to a second female victim’s apartment.

The first victim told police that Wilson followed her into the second victim’s residence and struck her in the side of the head, knocking her to the ground, then he left the residence. She also said that on his way down the stairs, Wilson pushed the second victim, causing her to fall on the stairs. Wilson then fled the area in an unknown direction, according to the complaint.

After they were both checked by EMTs, the second victim took the first victim to the Emergency Room at UPMC Northwest for further evaluation.

Wilson was arraigned in front of Magisterial District Judge Andrew F. Fish at 2:00 p.m. on January 5, on the following charges:
