COOPERSTOWN, Pa. (EYT) — Franklin State Police say a Cooperstown man was arrested for firing a weapon in his residence in Coopertown Boro, Venango County, Pa. allegedly

According to police, around 1:00 p.m. on October 10, 2012, on Factory Street in Cooperstown, 38-year-old Joseph Hunter Hoover fired a weapon at a 37-year-old female as she sat at the kitchen table in the residence.

Evidence at the residence — a bullet type hole in the wall of the kitchen — supports the statement that a shot had been fired.

Hoover was arraigned by District Justice Dinberg (28-3-02) on the charges of aggravated assault, simple assault, and recklessly endangering another person.

Hoover failed to post $50,000 straight bail and was committed to the Venango County Jail.
