OIL CITY, Pa. (EYT) – The Cub Scout Pack 17 of Oil City recently helped out their local community by cleaning up trash in a local park.

The cub scouts got together with leaders and worked diligently to gather two large bags of garbage from Hasson Park, in Oil City.

“We were even able to spot some wildlife on our journey!” said Jess Smith, a leader of Cub Scout Pack 17.

The work was done on Monday, September 19, as part of a service project.

The pack meets on Monday nights at 6:00 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church located at 215 E Bissell Avenue. It is open to boys and girls between Kindergarten and 5th grade.
