Emlenton Man Crashes Vehicle in Foxburg, Flees Scene

FOXBURG BORO, Pa. (EYT) — Clarion-based State Police say around 2:00 a.m. on March 30, a hit and run collision occurred on State Route 58, south of Bluff Street, in Foxburg Boro, Clarion County.

According to police, 26-year-old Dustin J. Whitling, of Emlenton, was traveling north on SR 58, out of the borough of Foxburg, and exited the right side of the roadway, striking the embankment with the front right of his 2004 Ranger.

Police say the impact tore the right front wheel assembly from the vehicle.

The vehicle was abandoned on the roadway, and Whitling fled the scene, according to police.

He was located at a later date and was charged with traffic violations.
