CRANBERRY TWP., Pa. (EYT) — The 19th Annual Cranberry Festival is set for Saturday, September 19, with fireworks scheduled to begin at 8:00 p.m.

The event is presented by the Venango Area Chamber of Commerce and is bringing the community three events this year.

Car Cruise Through: noon to 1:30 p.m.

The Cranberry Festival Car Cruise Through begins at noon at the Cranberry Mall. The first 100 participants will receive a free T-shirt and dash plaque, along with a mapped route through Cranberry.

Participants will be discouraged from parking and instead asked to cruise through the community, between noon and 1:30, so everyone can keep an eye out for the classic cars, jeeps and motorcycles who will be exploring the route.

FREE Children’s Goodie Bags Giveaway: 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

The kid’s goodie bag give away begins at 2:00 p.m., also at the Cranberry Mall, as long as supplies last. They are loaded with activities, toys, and treats for the first 300 to arrive.

Included are supplies for Chalk the Walk and Paint a Car, also taking place in the mall parking lot.

The Chamber would like to thank the many businesses who have made a donation for the goodie bags!

Fireworks Display: 8:00 p.m.

The fireworks display by Kellner’s Fireworks Inc. will also take place in the Cranberry Mall parking lot, similar to the fireworks for the 4th of July.
