CRANBERRY TWP., Pa. (EYT) — Franklin-based State Police report a two-vehicle accident on State Route 257 on February 27, around 2:15 p.m.

According to police, Kenneth I. Scott, 25, of Oil City, was traveling on State Route 257 in a 2005 Dodge Ram, with a 1-year-old male passenger, of Cooperstown, when he became distracted by a vehicle passing him.

Police say Scott failed to see that Charles E. Hagerty, 49, of Titusville, driving a 2009 Cherolet Suburban, was slowing for a turn.

Subsequently, Scott struck the rear of Hagerty’s vehicle.

All were wearing safety equipment, including Hagerty’s passengers, Laurie Hagerty, 47, of Titusville, and a 1-year-old, of Titusville.

No one was injured, police say.
