FRANKLIN, Pa. (EYT) — Franklin Police say around 9:59 p.m. on August 7, a Franklin man was arrested following a Domestic Assault that occurred on Elm Street, in Franklin, Venango County.

According to police, 34-year-old Michael Goodman, of Franklin, was arrested after allegedly punching a female victim in the face causing injury.

Goodman was held at Franklin Police Department for arraignment on one count of Simple Assault.

He was later remanded to Venango County Jail after failing to post bail.

No other information was provided.
