Car Crashes into Snow Bank Along Allegheny Avenue; 86-Year-old Franklin Man Escapes Injury

SUGARCREEK BOROUGH, Pa. (EYT) — Sugarcreek Borough Police say a one-vehicle accident occurred on March 3 around 2:07 p.m. on Allegheny Boulevard in Sugarcreek Borough, Venango County.

According to police, Lawrence Smith, 86, of Franklin, was traveling north on Allegheny Boulevard when he lost control of his vehicle and crossed all lanes of travel and impacted a snow bank in front of the Pepsi Distribution Facility.

Smith was able to drive away from the scene and sustained no injuries.

Assisting the Sugarcreek Borough Police at the scene were the Rocky Grove Volunteer Fire Department and Community Ambulance Service.
