FRANKLIN, Pa. (EYT) — Audition packets for the 11th Annual Taste of Talent Vocal Competition are now available.

The Franklin Fine Arts Council will sponsor the 11th Annual Taste of Talent Vocal Competition this summer at Bandstand Park in Downtown Franklin. The competition is open to individual soloists ages 16 & up.

Registration packets may be submitted by May 12.

Competitions will be held on Wednesdays, June 30; July 7, 14, 21 & 28 at 7 PM. Semi-Finals will take place on Saturday, August 7, at 7:00 p.m., and the finals will be held on Sunday, August 8 at 4:00 p.m. immediately following Taste of Franklin.

The winner of the competition will receive $1,000.00. Prize monies totaling $200.00 ($100.00 cash and $100.00 in Franklin Retail Gift Certificates) will be awarded to the three semi-finalists.

The Taste of Talent competition is one of the area’s favorite summer events. Competitors are quite popular and in demand in performing venues.
