Franklin Woman Charged For Giving Minors Liquor

SUGARCREEK BOROUGH, Pa. (EYT) – A Franklin woman is facing charges after reportedly furnishing liquor to three juveniles.

According to court documents, Franklin-based State Police filed criminal charges against 33-year-old Kendra Asenath Cramer in Magisterial District Judge Patrick E. Lowrey’s office on Monday, May 16.

According to a criminal complaint, police were requested to assist Children and Youth Services at a residence along Pennell Street, in Franklin, Venango County, on Saturday, April 23, around 11:50 p.m. for a report of Kendra Cramer providing alcohol to three juveniles.

Upon arrival, all three known juveniles were interviewed at the scene.

The juveniles related that Cramer gave them money to go over to a local convenience store to buy pop. They further stated that when they returned to the residence, Cramer allowed them to make drinks with her Calico Jack rum, the complaint states.

During the interviews with the juveniles, alcoholic beverages could be smelled on their breath, the complaint indicates.

Cramer faces the following charges:

– Corruption of Minors, Misdemeanor 1 (three counts)
– Sell/Furnish Liquor Etc. Minor, Misdemeanor 3 (three counts)

A preliminary hearing is set for 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, June 15, in Venango County Central Court in front of Judge Lowrey.
