Franklin Woman Escapes Injuries in Rollover Crash on Route 427

SUGARCREEK BOROUGH, Pa. (EYT) – A local woman escaped injuries in a rollover crash that occurred on Route 427 in Sugarcreek Borough on Sunday afternoon.

According to Franklin-based State Police, this crash took place at 4:47 p.m. on Sunday, January 22, on State Route 427, in Sugarcreek Borough, Venango County.

Police say 35-year-old Amy L. Green, of Franklin, was traveling north when, for unknown reasons, she lost control of her 2013 Toyota Camry.

The vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree and then rolled over. Green was able to free herself from the vehicle.

She was using a seat belt and was not injured.

The vehicle was towed from the scene by Minich’s Towing & Recovery.

Rocky Grove Volunteer Fire Department also assisted on the scene.

According to police, Green was charged with a traffic violation.
