Franklin Woman to Appear in Court after Allegedly Attacking Rocky Grove Man

ROCKY GROVE, Pa. (EYT) — A Franklin woman faces a preliminary hearing today after she allegedly broke into a Rocky Grove residence and allegedly assaulted a man who lives there.

Police in Sugarcreek served an arrest warrant on Roxsand Tompkins,30, of Franklin in connection with the Felony Burglary and other charges on March 19.

The arrest was made around 9:30 p.m. at an apartment on Rocky Grove Avenue.

Police say Tompkins forced her way into a residence on Rocky Grove Avenue and began punching and kicking a man in the head, neck, and legs.

She was arraigned on the following charges:

Burglary – Felony 1
Criminal Trespass – Felony 2
Simple Assault – Misdemeanor 2

She was lodged in the Venango County Jail on $10,000.00 bail.

Details on the man’s condition were not available.
