PRESIDENT TWP., Pa. (EYT) — A 31-year-old man is facing a hearing Wednesday on criminal charges for allegedly getting on top of a juvenile and touching her inappropriately.

Court documents indicate 31-year-old Ryan Brittingham, of Cheswick, is scheduled to stand for a preliminary hearing in front of Magisterial District Judge Patrick E. Lowrey at 3:00 p.m on March 3, on the following charges:

– Unlawful Contact With Minor — Sexual Offenses, Felony 3
– Corruption of Minors, Misdemeanor 1
– Indecent Assault Person Less 16 Years Age, Misdemeanor 2

Brittingham was arraigned on February 25.

He is currently free on $25,000.00 unsecured bail.

The charges stem from an incident that allegedly occurred in September 2020.

Details of the case:

According to a criminal complaint, a known juvenile victim disclosed being inappropriately touched by Ryan Brittingham at a location in President Township in early September 2020.

The victim allegedly reported Brittingham had been drinking by a campfire and then asked for a back rub, which the victim provided.

The victim went on to report that afterward, Brittingham got on top of her, placed his hand down her pants, and rubbed her pelvic area, just below her belt buckle, for a brief period, before removing his hand.

Based on the investigation, the charges were filed against Brittingham on February 16, through Magisterial District Judge Patrick E. Lowrey’s office.
