Heroin, Syringes Found During Traffic Stop; Oil City Couple Facing Charges

CRAWFORD COUNTY, Pa. (EYT) — Meadville-based State Police say around 1:13 a.m. on July 18, two Oil City residents are suspected of heroin possession and related drug paraphernalia.

According to police, a traffic stop was initiated at the 1-79 northbound rest stop at mile marker 162, in Cussewago Township, after the operator of the vehicle was suspected of driving while operating privileges were suspended.

Police say the following persons were involved:

35-year-old Corey Gene White, of Oil City
35-year-old Jaime Lynne White, of Oil City

Consent was obtained to search the vehicle by the owner/operator, police say.

The following items were found:

– several syringes
– a small baggy containing suspected heroin
– a soda can modified for smoking purposes containing residue
– a tooth brush holder containing more syringes in which one contained suspected heroin

The Oil City suspects allegedly admitted to possessing the controlled substance for personal use.

Charges will be filed with District Court 30-3-03 pending lab analysis of suspected heroin.
