Jayne J. Overmyer, 83, Winamac, IN, passed away at 10:50 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 13, 2016, at the LifeCare Center Rochester.

Jayne was born on April 3, 1933, in Oil City, Pennsylvania, to the late Charles and Marian Keating Jetter.

She was baptized at St. Stephen’s Catholic Church in Oil City. She was a 1951 graduate of Oil City High School. She received a bachelor’s degree from Villa Maria College in Erie, Pennsylvania. Jayne served as chief dietician for the Cleveland Browns football team while employed at Hiram College in Hiram, Ohio.

She retired in 1981 after working over 25 years as a dietician at various hospitals in Ohio and Indiana. Jayne loved to read and watch her soap operas. She took great pride in helping her mother raise her siblings Charles and Judy.
Survivors include her sisters Margaret Jetter, Oil City, Pennsylvania and Martha Marsh, Rochester, Michigan; and brother, Charles Jetter, Rockford, Tennessee.

She is in Heaven with her parents, Charles and Marian Keating Jetter and her sister, Judy Crane.
Memorial services were at 1:30 p.m. (EST) Tuesday, Nov. 22, at Frain Mortuary in Winamac, with the Rev. Leroy Kinnaman officiating.

Visitation was 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. (EST) Tuesday, Nov. 22, at Frain Mortuary Winamac.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Frain Mortuary Winamac.
