FRANKLIN, Pa. (EYT) — Franklin Police officers say around 3:10 a.m. on July 24, a juvenile female was initially arrested for underage drinking, and upon further investigation, she was also charged with drug related offenses.

According to police, while responding to a disorderly conduct incident in the 1400 block of Buffalo Street, officers discovered that a juvenile female had in her possession four 12 packs of beer.

The juvenile was arrested for possession of an alcoholic beverage.

Police say upon returning to Franklin Police Department, officers discovered the female juvenile was in possession of a controlled substance.

The female juvenile was charged with the following offenses:

– underage drinking
– possession of a controlled substance
– possession of drug paraphernalia
