ROCKLAND TWP., Pa. (EYT) — A 43-year-old man is facing charges after allegedly throwing an object at a motorcyclist in Rockland Township, Venango County.

Court documents indicate Franklin-based State Police filed criminal charges against 43-year-old Keith Allen Shawgo, of Kennerdell.

According to a criminal complaint, around 4:00 p.m. on Monday, February 15, Trooper Young was dispatched to Gas Line Lane in Rockland Township for a report of a known man having an object thrown at him while he was riding his motorcycle down Rockland-Nickleville Road.

Trooper Young interviewed the victim at his residence on Gas Line Lane in Emlenton. He stated that around 4:00 p.m. he was driving his motorcycle after work to see if he needed to make any repairs before summer. He was driving back to his house, when he saw Keith Shawgo outside smoking a cigarette. The man said that while driving by, he noticed Shawgo throwing a small brown object the size of a baseball at him. He said he continued home and then called the police.

The man knew Shawgo from past incidents, according to the complaint.
