ROCKLAND TWP., Pa. (EYT) – A Kennerdell man is facing DUI-related charges after a traffic stop was initiated on his car.

According to Franklin-based State Police, troopers were dispatched on Thursday, June 16, around 9:59 p.m., for a call of two males fighting in a field along Kennerdell Road, in Rockland Township, Venango County.

Police say the caller stated she could hear two men arguing and saw them drive away in a white, four-door car with a loud exhaust.

While en route to the scene, troopers observed a 2003 Cadillac that matched the caller’s description and performed a traffic stop.

The driver, a 30-year-old Kennerdell man, told police he was the person involved in the argument.

While talking with the driver, he showed signs of impairment and had an odor of alcoholic beverages emitting from his person, police say.

The driver was then arrested for suspicion of DUI.

Charges are pending.

The driver’s name was not released.
