EMLENTON, Pa. (EYT) — An Emlenton girl who suffered severe injuries in a traffic accident is recovering, and her family has established a fundraiser to help with expenses.

On September 30, Chris and Jen Kriebel’s oldest daughter, Ashley, was in a terrible accident, she was life-flighted to Presbyterian in Pittsburgh.

Ashley sustained two broken legs, a fractured shoulder blade, fractured hand, concussion, cut to her brain, and several other bumps and bruises.

Chris and Jen have two other children at home. With Ashley being in the hospital so far from home, the expenses to be with her everyday have put a financial strain on the family.

Ashley will require 24 hour care once she returns home, which Jen will provide for her.
