CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) — Franklin-based State Police say around 3:45 p.m. on July 30, an incident of public drunkenness occurred at Walmart in Cranberry Township, Venango County.

According to police, 57-year-old Charles John Gerst was allegedly found highly intoxicated on the Cranberry Walmart property.

He was allegedly walking and staggering around inside Walmart, as well as outside of the store, to a degree where he was a danger to himself, other persons, or property around him, police say.

Charges will be handled through District Court 28-3-04, according to police.
