Man Arrested, Police Search for Woman Accused in Burglary in Cranberry Township

CRANBERRY TWP., Pa. (EYT) — Police are currently searching for a woman who was allegedly involved in a burglary in Cranberry Township on Tuesday evening.

Franklin-based State Police say around 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 20, 27-year-old Matthew Graham, of Oil City, gained entry to a known residence on Allegheny Avenue in Cranberry Township, Venango County, and proceeded to attempt to steal a pickup truck, a Ford box truck, a motorcycle, and a 1969 Buick Wildcat, without success.

Police say Graham crashed a forklift into the pickup truck and was then confronted by the victim during the commission of the crime.

According to police, sometime during the commission of the crime, Graham also took off his pants and shoes for unknown reasons.

Graham was subsequently taken into custody and lodged in the Venango County Jail based on a parole detainer.

Charges of burglary, theft, and criminal mischief, as well as other drug-related charges, are pending.

Franklin-based State Police are also currently searching for Rachel Knight, formerly known as Rachel Yount, who is believed to be a co-conspirator in the burglary.
