Man Injured in Motorcycle Crash on Route 157

CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) — According to Franklin-based State Police, around 7:54 p.m. on June 18, a motorcycle accident occurred on State Route 157, at its intersection with Riverside Drive, in Cranberry Township, Venango County.

Police say 43-year-old Zeljko Gunja, of Mississsauga, Ontaria, was traveling north on SR 157 when his 2009 Harley-Davidson FLHTCU fell on its left side and slid approximately 300 feet, coming to a final rest on the right side guide rail of State Route 62.

Gunja suffered minor injuries.

He was not wearing a helmet.

Community Ambulance responded to the scene; Gunja refused treatment, according to police.

Gunja was charged with a traffic violation.

Minich’s Towing removed the motorcycle from the scene.
