Man Sentenced in Oil City Store Break-in

OIL CITY, Pa. (EYT) – A 19-year-old Oil City man will serve up to two years in connection with a break-in at a store in Oil City.

Court documents show that 19 year-old James Franklin will spend 5 months to 2 years in Venango County Jail in connection with a February 11th break-in at Baker’s Confectionery Inc on East 2nd Street.

Officials say Franklin will receive credit for 3.5 months already served.

Franklin was also sentenced one year probation and will be required to pay fines and restitution.
