CLINTON TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) — Franklin-based State Police say a 57-year-old man suffered major injuries in a one-vehicle accident that occurred around 2:58 p.m. on March 6, on Interstate 80, at the 34 mile marker, Clinton Township, Venango County.

According to police, 57-year-old Richard E. Bonanno, of Penfield, was traveling east on I-80 in a 2013 Mack Truck when he failed to negotiate a right curve in the roadway.

Bonanno was using a seat belt and suffered major injuries.

He was extricated by members of Clintonville and Emlenton Volunteer Fire Department, then flown by State Medivac to Presbyterian Hospital.
