Martha Rhea Roadarmel, 94, of Knox passed away peacefully, Sunday morning August 30, 2015.

Born October 2, 1920, Martha was the daughter of Charles C. and Cathryn Truby Rhea. Martha lived in Knox since she was four years old. She graduated from Knox High School and went on to receive a certificate in secretarial science from Westminster College in New Wilmington.

After college she was employed at Pennzoil Co. in Rouseville and then May Accounting in Oil City. Martha was married to Raymond Roadarmel who preceded her in death in 1963. After WWII Martha and Raymond moved to Oil City and later returned to Knox to live because she enjoyed living in the small town. Martha was always interested in the historical facts about Knox.

Martha traveled extensively in her earlier days and despite her low vision for many years she remained very active.

Martha is survived by a niece Rhea Ann Shedden of Huntington Beach, CA, a nephew Joseph Martucci of Carol Goales, FL, two great nieces Victoria and Vanessa Martucci of Carol Goales, FL, and several good friends in Knox. A

long with her husband and parents Martha was preceded in death by her three: sisters Valjean Martucci, Betty Rhea and Lucille Stevenson and a sister in law Virginia Cummins.

At Martha’s request there will be no services.

Interment will take place in the Callensburg Cemetery.
