Mary M. Walters, age 70, of East Hickory, PA, died on Tuesday, August 29, 2017, at the Titusville Area Hospital, Titusville, PA.

She was born April 28, 1947, in East Hickory, daughter of the late Harry and Nellie (Clark) George.

She was married to Chuck Kagle who preceded her in death. On June 6, 1977, in Lancaster she married her second husband, Charles L. “Chick” Walters who died May 26, 2008.

Mary was very active with the local Cub Scout and Boy Scout Troops of Tionesta. She was employed for many years by K-Mart in Warren, PA and in Franklin, PA as a stock clerk. She enjoyed cross stitch and crocheting. Mary would be seen with her family during harvest time at her home selling fruits and vegetables and at the Farmer’s Market on the Forest County Courthouse lawn.

She is survived by a daughter, Corrine L. Bell of Youngsville, PA. Three grandchildren, Brandon S. Walters at home, Meadow M. Allen and her husband Michael of Oil City, PA, and Chaquoia Walters of Youngsville. One great grandson, George M. Allen. Several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and her first and second husbands, she was preceded in death by a son, Harold G. Kagle. Two brothers, Harry and Grant George. Two sisters, Bonnie Torres and Rose Maganottie.

Friends will be received at the Norman J. Wimer Funeral Home of Tionesta on Friday, September 1, 2017, from 10 am to 11 am.

A funeral service will then be conducted at the funeral at 11 am. Burial will take place at the East Hickory Cemetery.
