Bauer PhotoMary Rose Bauer, age 78, of Lucinda, passed away after a brief illness, on June 15, 2015 at UPMC Northwest in Seneca.

Born on May 24, 1937, in Brookville, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Grace (Baker) Schupp. On June 15, 1963, at St. Joseph’s Church in Lucinda, she married Stanley E. Bauer, who survives. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church in Clarion.

Mary Rose worked for Leon Huffnagel & Associates, Henry Amsler, the Visiting Nurse Association in Shippenville, and Carrier Insurance in Clarion.

An avid music lover, Mary Rose played piano and organ by ear, enjoyed live music and the beauty of summer flowers and song birds.

She is survived by two daughters: Karen Watson, and husband Mark, of Potomac Falls VA, and Kelly Dietrich, and husband Tim, of Richmond VA, along with two grandsons, Alexander Dietrich and Mitchell Watson.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Mary Rose’s name to a charity of the donor’s choosing.

Arrangements are under the care of the Goble Funeral Home and Crematory, 330 Wood Street in Clarion, where visitation will be held from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Wednesday. A Christian Wake Service will be held at the funeral home at 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday evening as well. Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday at Immaculate Conception Church, Main Street, Clarion, with Father Monty Sayers, presiding. Interment will be the Immaculate Conception Cemetery.
