Nicholas PardeeNickolas William Pardee, 19, of 316 Rynd Farm Road, Oil City, died Tuesday, August 30, 2016.

Born March 6, 1997, in Titusville, he was a son of John and Jen Hutchinson Pardee.

Nick graduated from Oil City High School and Venango Technology Center Welding Department in 2016.

Nick worked at Witherup in Kennerdell as a welder/fabricator, and was a member of the Boilermakers Union.

He was a member of Rouseville Volunteer Fire Department where he worked and volunteered.

Nick was a country boy through and through. He loved dirt bike riding and hanging out with friends, working on cars. Nick loved new work boots, wearing hats and he loved girls. He loved country music and riding his bike.

Nick attended youth group at Galloway United Methodist Church and CCD classes at St. Stephen Catholic Church.

While in school he played basketball and was a swimmer but his passion was welding.

Nick was loving and gentle with his younger cousins and was loyal to his family. He loved spending time with his great-grandmother LaVonne. Nick loved family vacations to Florida and being at the ocean. He also enjoyed playing video games and watching movies with his Mom and little brother and hunting with his Dad.

Nick’s family takes comfort in knowing that his precious soul rests in the arms of his Father.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his younger brother Johnathan Pardee; his grandparents Robin McGinty Hutchinson and John Buck, Greg and Kristin Hutchinson and their daughter Logan Hutchinson; his grandmother Mary Pardee and great grandmother LaVonne Hutchinson.

Also surviving are his aunts Jill Hutchinson, Jessie Craig and Sam Brocklehurst, Janice and Jim and Alvie Pardee as well as several great-aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather Alvie Pardee, great grandfather Harry Hutchinson and great-grandparents Robert and Joan McGinty.

Friends may call at the Morrison Funeral Home on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11 a.m. on Friday.

Interment will be in Lamey Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to Venango Welding Tech at VoTech or the Rouseville Volunteer Fire Department.
