FRENCHCREEK TWP., Pa. (EYT) — An Oil City woman has been arraigned on charges related to the investigation of a theft in Frenchcreek Township.

Court documents indicate 18-year-old Tasha Nicole Goodman was arraigned in front of Magisterial District Judge Matthew T. Kirtland at 3:17 p.m. on Tuesday, August 11, on the following charges:

– Criminal Trespass-Break Into Structure, Felony 2
– Theft By Unlawful Taking-Movable Property, Felony 2
– Criminal Trespass-Enter Structure, Felony 3

She remains free on $5,000.00 unsecured bail.

The charges stem from a report of a theft in Frenchcreek Township, Venango County, in late May.

According to a criminal complaint, on May 30, Franklin-based State Police initiated an investigation into a report of a criminal trespass and theft incident.

According to the complaint, police discovered that around 8:00 a.m. on May 30, Collin James Stone drove a red Nissan sedan to a known victim’s property in Frenchcreek Township, with Tasha Goodman and another individual riding as passengers.

The complaint notes Stone’s license was suspended at the time of the incident.

The three individuals then allegedly entered the victim’s property, broke into a secured structure, and stole approximately $2,000.00 of items, including tools, antlers, ammunition, speakers, and other various items.

While stealing from the property, the three individuals were observed, and photographs were taken of them loading items into the red Nissan, according to the complaint.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, August 19, with Judge Kirtland presiding.
