OIL CITY, Pa. (EYT) — Oil City Police say an alleged Domestic Violence incident occurred on Plummer Street, in Oil City, Venango County,

Around 9:00 p.m. on February 1, police were notified by a female victim that she was allegedly assaulted by 23-year-old Reda Alla El Ouiaazzani, of Oil City, according to police.

The victim allegedly suffered facial contusions and sought medical assistance at UPMC, police say.

El Ouiaazzani was later arrested by Franklin PSP at his work and brought to Oil City Police Department where he was arraigned and placed in Venango County Jail in lieu of $25,000.00 bail.

He faces the following offenses:

– Simple Assault, Misdemeanor 2
– Harassment — Subject Other to Physical Contact

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. on February 11, 2015, in front of Magisterial District Judge Andrew F. Fish.
