Oil City Man Allegedly Gets Upset Over Hacky Sack Game, Threatens Juvenile with Knife

OIL CITY, Pa. (EYT) – Oil City Police were dispatched to the 100 block of Hoffman Avenue for a male allegedly threatening individuals with a knife.

Upon officers arrival, they were met by an adult male and a juvenile male, police say.

It was discovered that around 10:08 p.m. on March 20, David Wise, allegedly threatened the juvenile with a knife after getting upset playing hacky sack, according to police.

Wise was charged with the following offenses:

  • Terroristic Threats
  • Simple Assault
  • Recklessly Endangering Another Person
  • Harassment

He was arraigned by Magistrate Snyder.
