Oil City Man Arrested for Assault, DUI

CRAWFORD CO., Pa. (EYT) — State police say an Oil City man was arrested for DUI and related offenses early Saturday morning on Route 322, in West Mead Township, Crawford County.

According to police, a known Oil City man was traveling to Meadville on Route 322 shortly after midnight on December 30 and failed to pull over for police. Police forced the vehicle to stop.

Police say the Oil City man was driving under the influence.

He is also accused of assaulting a female and resisting arrest.

The investigation continues.

The name of the accused was not released.
