Oil City Man Arrested on Multiple Warrants by Venango County Sheriff’s Office

OIL CITY, Pa. (EYT) — An Oil City man has been arrested by the Venango County Sheriff’s Office on multiple warrants after failing to appear before the court for a scheduled conference and/or hearing with the Domestic Relations Section.

According to the press release issued by the Sheriff’s Office on March 22, 2023, Jacob J. Lawall, 46, was arrested at 2:15 p.m. in Oil City by the Sheriff’s Deputies, Oil City Police, and Probation and Parole.

Lawall had three warrants for absconding supervision in addition to the warrant for failing to appear before the court.

After his arrest, he was transported and lodged in the Venango County Jail. It is unclear at this time when his next court appearance will be.

According to court records, Lawall faced charges of criminal mischief, defiant trespassing, and criminal trespassing in 2021. He was arrested for open lewdness in September 2022.

The Venango County Sheriff’s Office did not provide any further information regarding Lawall’s case or the nature of the charges he is facing.
